Spring photo sessions, life updates, and big lessons from Havana, Cuba
A hodgepodge of updates from 2025 so far 🎞️📸✈️
The past few years have been full of change. I felt pulled to lean into motherhood as my kids finished their last years of elementary school and transitioned to middle school. Although I’ve had limited availability for new clients over the past years, I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to continue growing as a film photographer.
I’m excited to be resuming photography full time and to share my passion for shooting families on film here in Marin and San Francisco.

My passion for creating authentic and imperfect art out of everyday family moments has continued to grow as I’ve experienced the fleeting nature of childhood first hand. I’ve leaned deeper into film photography, falling even more in love with both the timeless, classic look and the challenge of creating each frame with intention.
I’m beyond grateful to the many wonderful families who have continued to reach out yearly to create with me. It is such an honor to photograph and get to know your growing families over the years.
If you’d like to freeze this moment in time; if you’d like to document your family authentically, I’d love to help you plan your dream session.

Spring Sessions ![]() My 2025 calendar is live! Please reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to creating art with you in 2025. | On the blog: Cuba ![]() There was one thing that I heard over and over during my brief stay in Cuba. An earnest plea that my heart will never forget. “When you go home, tell them we’re good people” (continue reading here) |
“I just want the digitals”
I hear this from time to time. Clients reach out to book a session and tell me that they just want the digital files.
Somewhere along the line we were made to believe that digital storage was a foolproof way to preserve our most precious memories. History tells a different story. My walls are lined with black and white film photos of my grandparents. My great, great grandma elegantly poses in her wedding gown above my mother’s dining room table.
Hard drives don’t last and Instagram won’t be around forever. File formats change and new technology renders older storage methods obsolete at an alarmingly fast pace. I believe in print! I believe a photo session should be more than just a holiday card or a social media post.
I am passionate about sending my clients on their way with both heirloom quality archival prints AND a digital backup file. While jpegs on a hard drive tend to be forgotten about, I genuinely believe you will cherish these physical images for decades to come.
